Short Fiction #10 Sacrifice
Susan stared at the wall.
â€œThatâ€™s it,â€ she whispered. â€œIâ€™ve had enough.â€
She knew that she was finished.
It was no use continuing.
â€œEnough is enough.â€
She sat there for ages, almost like a stone.
Finally, she struggled to rise.
â€œThatâ€™s it,â€ she repeated. â€œThe rest of that chocolate cake will have to wait until later.â€
