“Who would do this to us?” wailed Betty.

“Any number of damn idiots!” retorted George.

“What can we do?”

“First; both of us are fine.”

“Yes… but…”

“And we still have each other.”

“I know that – but these despicable…”

“Never mind,” soothed George. “We’ll just have to buy another garden gnome.”
