Short Fiction #16 Fright
She stared, swooned and fainted.
“Beatrice!” yelled Andrea as she rushed to her side.
“Beatrice! Are you alright?”
Beatrice stirred. Her eyelids flickered.
“Andrea,” she whispered. “Thank God you’re here.”
“What happened?”
“It was horrible!” shuddered Beatrice. “Terrible! Ghastly!”
“What was so ghastly?”
“A…a…,” she could barely speak. “A spider ran over my leg!”
